Prague’s Old Town Square From Above

Prague's Old Town SquarePrague’s Old Town Square, Czech Republic (Dec. 2011).

I took this picture from the tower of the Old Town Hall (the building with the astronomical clock). Our hotel room was in the blue and white building, which is one of several buildings that make up the Grand Hotel Praha. Our hotel was reasonably priced and in a superb location, perfect for exploring the truly grand city of Prague.

A more detailed post(s) of our trip to Prague to come…

(I’ve been working on a post about Bath and a final post or two on Mallorca, but neither is ready for prime time yet, so I thought I’d share this photo, which I particularly like.)

I visited Warsaw in the 1980s. What a wonderful old town – rebuilt after its total destruction by the German army.
