Puyenbroeck Park Bridge in the Evening

Puyenbroeck Park Bridge, BelgiumBridge in Puyenbroeck Park, Belgium

While visiting family in Belgium, we visited Puyenbroeck Park, which is northeast of Ghent near the Belgian border with The Netherlands. The park is quite large, but it seemed as though we had the whole place to ourselves. On our return trip to the car, we passed over this bridge for a second time. With the change in light, the view looked different, so I stopped to take this second shot.

You might notice tiny specks on the photo. When I did, I wondered what happened. Did I have dust on my lens or something? Not unless the dust had tiny wings. I doubt the wings are visible on this greatly-reduced version of the photo, but, in case you were wondering, those dots were lots and lots of insects.  I’m glad I didn’t notice at the time.
