Red Poppies in the CotswoldsRed Poppies in the Cotswolds, United Kingdom (June 2012).

When the rapeseed fields are in full bloom, the bright yellow fields are truly eye-catching. But once the blossoms give way to seed pods, vibrant dashes of color emerge. I’m not sure if the red poppies grow wild or if they’re planted with a purpose, but whatever their origin, the result is a delight.
