Inch Beach, Dingle Peninsula, Ireland.
On a grey day with negligible waves, I would hardly expect a whole lot of surfing going on, but it may just be a great time to practice surfing basics. I remember learning to surf in San Diego. Much of our time was spent on the beach learning about weather, tides, and sea life and practicing the pop-up. How excited were we when we finally got into the water to try for real on dinky little waves. Perhaps the beginners are learning similarly as they take lessons from a surfing school affiliated with one of those trucks. Waves or no waves, they sure picked a beautiful spot.
Next time I want a photo of you and R surfing!
