Dom’s Dome in Salzburg

According to Rick Steves’ “Vienna, Salzburg & Tirol,” the Salzburg Cathedral was consecrated in 1628, but after a World War II bomb had blown through the dome, reconstruction was necessary. The work was completed in 1959.
