Spooky Freeze

Frosted Fence and Spider WebsYesterday’s post was of a spider web that had become encased in ice crystals by falling frozen mist. This post’s pictures of frosted metal fencing and handrails were taken on the same night.

Other than a very gentle breeze, it was incredibly quiet and still while I was taking these pictures between about 2 am and 3 am. I believe that feeling of calmness comes through. Kinda lonely and spooky. I hadn’t intended on creating a particular mood with these images but, once assembled, they do remind me of a creepy, old mansion. Enjoy…if you can! Bwa-ha-ha! (Yes, lack of sleep can make a person loopy).

  1. These are so unique and interesting (in a good way)!

  2. I love the angle you chose to take your pictures! #4 & #6 are particularly stunning!
