  1. This looks amazing, what a beautiful place. Is there much good hiking around there?

    • Yes to hiking! While on the Isle of Skye we hiked Quirang (challenging to the Table, not sure about the longer route) and The Storr (some ascent, but safe) on the Trotternish Peninsula and to the fairy pools (fairly easy as far as we went), which are north of the Cuillin Hills (actually mountains, in my opinion). Others hiked the Cuillin Hills from Loch Coruisk. Walking/hiking books for the Isle are available with lots of other routes and destinations.
